Risk Assessment

Center for Professional Systems & Services Ltd (CPSS) conduct Risk Assessments in relation to many types of situations and workplaces. The Risk Assessments are intended to objectively identify hazards that could injure a person and using a risk analysis technique quantify the degree of risk. Once the risk has been quantified the appropriate level of control can be introduced to bring high levels of risk within a level that is less likely to injure people. We apply the risk assessment process to the following :

The Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) is intended to provide a framework for developing and implementing improvements in occupational health and safety. As an accredited and certified OHSMS Auditor I am aware of the requirements of an effective program and have the experience required make it work.
We can develop and document OH&S Management System in accordance with an organisation's needs and can base them on modern general principles or on a range of Standards, some of the guidelines we can use are:
HSG 65 , OHSAS 18001 /18002, ILO-OSH 20001
The system is suited to both small and large organisations with appropriate modifications. Besides documenting your OHSMS we can also develop it so that it resides on your Intranet with appropriate links, making it accessible throughout the organisation and easy to keep current.

Pre-Assessment
Once the management system has been fully implemented and sufficient records exist to demonstrate effective performance, we will conduct a pre-assessment audit to determine whether your management system is ready for a formal audit by an accredited Certification Body.
We will present an Audit Report and work with your staff to determine appropriate corrective action for any non-conformances found.
At this time we will also make your employees familiar with the certification audit process and provide guidance on handling external audit interviews.
